Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- possess a high school diploma, GED, or the ability to complete GED program within 6 months
- willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening and background check
- have appropriate I-9 identifications
- be able to travel 25-30 miles to and from work
- understand customer service and public interactions
- availability for swing or graveyard shifts
- be reliable, accountable, and punctual
- have conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- prevent venue guests from leaving with alcoholic beverages
- able to greet and interact with guests, vendors, and client employees professionally
- intermediate computer skills
- provide excellent customer service in-person, via radio, and telephone
- open to communication and feedback
- adhere to 15-minute and lunch breaks
- work effectively in team environments
- stay organized and professional
- have reliable transportation
- attend in-person interview and orientation in Colorado Springs
- obtain and maintain Colorado Springs Guard Card license annually
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to complete GED within 6 months if not currently held
- security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus
- great attention to detail
- ability to remain alert throughout shifts
- good judgment in emergencies
- intermediate computer and technology skills
- excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to interact positively with vendors, guests, clients, and management
- willingness to receive and act on feedback
- ability to learn and adhere to security operations
- maintain Colorado Springs Guard Card license
- reliability, accountability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Report alarms in accordance with client requirements
- monitor cameras
- greet vendors, customers, venue guests, client employees, and aid as needed
- conduct internal foot patrol to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and mechanical problems
- monitor entrances and exits providing guidance to site visitors, vendors, and guests
- complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and logs via Securitas and client systems
- provide an atmosphere where guests, client employees, site visitors, and management feel their needs are met
- present a good image to clients, public, and management
- operate calmly and direct disruptive persons to leave property
- protect evidence or scene of incidents in the event of accidents or emergencies
- observe and report suspicious activities
- ensure property removal complies with policy
- carry out specific tasks required for assigned sites
