We are currently seeking dedicated and vigilant Security personnel for both Nectar Lounge and Hidden Hall. The Security role is a critical position that ensures the safety and well-being of all guests, staff, and performers within these bustling live music environments. Working as part of our team means you become a crucial part of Seattle’s music tradition, safeguarding an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and secure.

The primary responsibility of the Security position is to create and maintain a safe environment by enforcing venue policies and applicable liquor laws. This includes welcoming guests warmly, verifying IDs for age compliance, and monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent intoxication-related issues. Key tasks also involve securing points of access to prevent unauthorized entry, employing observation skills to identify potential disturbances, and using effective de-escalation tactics when necessary to manage conflicts calmly and professionally. Security staff play an essential role in protecting not only the patrons but also the employees by escorting staff safely to their vehicles at the end of shifts. This position requires individuals who are attentive, approachable, and capable of quick decision-making to handle unpredictable situations effectively.

Given the nature of live entertainment venues, the Security role demands flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to align with the event schedule and business needs. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.30, recognizing the importance and responsibility entrusted to our security team members.
