The Security Manager role at CACI plays a critical part in safeguarding sensitive information and personnel within the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) Experimental (DGS-X) environment. This full-time position requires an individual who can expertly manage physical security, personnel security, information security, and industrial security programs at the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral levels. The Security Manager will serve as the primary subject matter expert for security systems and protocols, including Defense Information System for Security (DISS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), balance magnetic switches (BMS), closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, and access control mechanisms. They will implement and oversee continuous security education awareness training programs to maintain adherence to policies and directives. In addition, the manager will conduct regular security inspections, audits, and facility checks to certify compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities. The position also acts as an alternate Special Security Representative (SSR), responsible for supporting SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) accreditation and compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD). This role requires a high degree of technical expertise and leadership to ensure all classified material is properly accounted for, transported, and destroyed according to stringent National Security Agency (NSA) policies. The Security Manager will coordinate closely with various departments and external entities, including the Air Combat Command Foreign Disclosure Office (ACC FDO) and multiple Special Security Officers (SSO) and Facility Security Officers (FSO), to resolve complex industrial security issues and clearance management. Candidates for this position must possess a current TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and several years of hands-on experience in security management within Department of Defense (DoD) or similar environments. The position offers a salary range of $61,600 to $129,300 and requires up to 10% continental US travel. Job Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in sociology, criminology, police administration, criminal justice, or related area or 6 years’ experience in related field
  • Experience maintaining SCIF accreditation via Fixed Facility Check and TEMPEST addendum
  • Knowledge in operation and testing of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Balance Magnetic Switches (BMS), motion sensors, CCTV, and other security devices
  • 2 to 4 years Defense Information System for Security (DISS) experience in an Air Force DCGS unit or other Service DCGS unit
  • Open Storage Management skills
  • Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures related to Personnel, Physical, Industrial, and Information Security

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of security regulations, policies, and procedures across personnel, physical, industrial, and information security
  • Desired qualifications include Intro to Industrial Security (IS011.16/06), Safeguarding Classified Information (IS109.16/06), Cyber Security Awareness (CI130.16), Derivative Classification, Scattered Castles experience, knowledge of NISPOM/NISP, Defense Courier Service (DCS), and Badging/Access Control systems

Job Duties

  • Serve as subject matter expert of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Provide authoritative technical assistance for security policies and directives
  • Implement and track Security Education Awareness Training (SEAT) programs for collateral security
  • Conduct clearance verification and maintain visitor database
  • Liaison with Air Combat Command Foreign Disclosure Office (ACC FDO) for foreign national access control
  • Provide guidance on transport and mailing of classified materials
  • Inventory and maintain classified mailings
  • Assist in destruction of classified material and hardware per NSA policy
  • Manage and certify destruction equipment
  • Support Special Security Officers (SSO) and Facility Security Officers (FSO) on industrial security issues
  • Ensure all personnel have valid DD-254 forms
  • Conduct audits of contract employee security clearances
  • Oversee anti-terrorism, physical, personnel, information, and industrial security
  • Manage intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV security systems
  • Test IDS, BMS, and motion sensors regularly
  • Issue and manage facility access badges
  • Conduct physical security inspections and recommend corrections
  • Maintain SCIF accreditation via Fixed Facility Check (FFC) and TEMPEST updates
  • Implement Security Education Training Awareness (SETA) program for SCI
  • Conduct inspections and assessments within the SCIF
  • Collaborate with Information Systems Security Manager for classified media accountability
