This particular opportunity is for a full-time, onsite Security Information Event Manager (SIEM) Administrator, specializing in Splunk. The position necessitates a U.S. citizen and prefers candidates with a Secret security clearance. Responsibilities include implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security environments for effective security incident monitoring and response. Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Secret clearance preferred
- High school diploma
- At least 4 years of system, network administration, or developer experience and 2 years of Splunk administration or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in lieu of experience
- Must meet Intermediate Proficiency Level qualifications according to DoD 8140.03-M
- Possession of IAM-II certification
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin credential
- Experience administering Linux servers
- Experience with SIEM Content Development
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 4 years of system, network administration, or developer experience and 2 years of Splunk administration or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in lieu of experience
- Must meet Intermediate Proficiency Level qualifications according to DoD 8140.03-M
- Possession of IAM-II certification such as CISM, CISSP (or associate), GSLC, CCISO, CAP, CASP+ CE, or HCISSP
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin credential

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Implement, install, and troubleshoot Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security systems
- Maintain and administer SE and ES configurations, indexes, apps, and knowledge objects
- Monitor system health, capacity, and performance to proactively address issues
- Configure new data inputs to expand data collection capabilities
- Create security dashboards, reports, alerts, and notifications
- Collaborate with system administrators to enhance security monitoring capabilities
- Perform updates and patches on the Splunk platform
- Audit and review security practices to prevent security incidents
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and changes
