The Full-time Concierge/Guard position at Springmoor is a vital role focused on delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents throughout the expansive 42-acre campus. In this role, you will be responsible for responding promptly to resident requests and emergency situations such as alarms and fires, demonstrating sound judgment under pressure. You will assist residents by escorting them safely across campus, including providing wheelchair assistance both inside the facilities and in passenger vehicles outside. Additionally, conducting routine safety and facility rounds, maintaining detailed written reports, and monitoring potential concerns regarding residents or campus facilities are crucial aspects of the job. This position also involves close interaction with independent residents, offering numerous opportunities to make a meaningful impact on their daily lives. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must possess a valid NC driver's license
- must have weekend availability
Job Qualifications
- must have strong customer service skills
- must be mature, courteous, patient, and hardworking with a sincere concern for senior citizens
- must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- must have the ability to learn and operate a telephone console and other technology
- high school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- deliver a high level of customer service by taking ownership of resident requests and ensuring timely resolution
- respond to resident emergency alarms, fire, and facility emergencies, showing good judgement under pressure
- assist and escort residents safely throughout campus, including wheelchair assistance inside and in passenger vehicles outside throughout our 42-acre campus
- conduct routine safety and facility rounds, maintain written reports, and remain alert to concerns involving residents or campus facilities
- interact closely with our independent residents and have regular opportunities to make a meaningful difference in their daily lives
