Operating as a leader in event security and guest services, these venues not only focus on enforcing safety regulations but also emphasize exceptional customer interaction, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Recognized for their commitment to employee training and development, the venues offer part-time employment opportunities that cater to individuals seeking evening and weekend shifts, perfectly suited for candidates who value flexible work schedules alongside an engaging work environment. The starting pay rate for the position is competitive at $20 per hour, with work hours capped to not exceed 1000 hours per calendar year, making it an ideal role for individuals balancing other commitments or studies.
The role of Security Crowd Manager entails assisting event security teams in reinforcing venue policies while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for event attendees. The position demands a proactive, customer-service-driven individual who brings a solid foundation of security knowledge, especially through acquiring or possessing a 20-hour security training certificate alongside at least one year of security experience, with event crowd management or Criminal Justice studies considered a valuable asset. This role emphasizes the importance of consistency in service delivery, adherence to scheduling, and the ability to manage diverse guest interactions effectively. As a Security Crowd Manager, one becomes an essential part of the event day operations, responsible for a range of duties from enforcing guest conduct policies to managing access control, assisting guests with disabilities, and providing valuable guest information. The manager must be approachable, articulate, and self-motivated, demonstrating the capacity to work efficiently within a team and uphold all grooming and uniform standards. Physical demands of the job require individuals to be capable of sitting or walking for two-thirds of their shift, with occasional stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds, ensuring preparedness for the dynamic nature of event environments. This position not only requires a firm commitment to safety and policy enforcement but also a dedication to creating a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere where guests feel welcome and secure at every event.
