(CNI) is a dynamic holding company with diverse subsidiaries operating across multiple industries including Technology, Infrastructure & Engineering, Health, Manufacturing, Public Safety, Consulting, and Transportation. These subsidiaries serve both federal government agencies and commercial enterprises. A key aspect of CNI’s business model is reinvesting a significant portion of its profits to support Chickasaw citizens, thereby promoting the economic development, prosperity, and sustainability of the Chickasaw Nation and its people. As a federally recognized employer and a federal contractor, CNI adheres to strict compliance and ethical standards, including maintaining a drug-free workplace in accordance with the Federal Controlled Substance Act. CNI prides itself on its commitment to employee well-being, demonstrated by offering premium benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting, professional development assistance, and legal aid among other valuable perks, all of which are available starting from the first day of employment for full-time employees.
The Security Assistant II role at Chickasaw Nation Industries is a pivotal administrative position that requires increased autonomy and a deeper understanding of security operations and protocols compared to entry-level roles. This role supports the Security Coordination Center (SCC) Detachment 5 by managing a wide range of security-related administrative functions. The Security Assistant II is responsible for maintaining meticulous records related to information security, physical security, and industrial security programs, including documentation, training records, conference coordination, and tracking systems. This position also involves the operation of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), through which personnel access and visit requests are managed with precision and compliance.
In addition to managing access control systems such as facility badges, Entry Access Lists (EAL), and Restricted Area Alarm Access Rosters (AAR), the Security Assistant II plays a vital role in the vetting, training, and access management process for personnel. This includes processing inbound and outbound personnel security actions, ensuring clearance verifications are current, and enforcing security protocol adherence. The role requires performing base-directed and ad-hoc Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAMs) and conducting periodic security inspections of classified areas, documenting any findings that may impact security posture.
The Security Assistant II must maintain a proactive approach to compliance by attending mandatory base security trainings and briefings, facilitating the completion of Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) checklists, and ensuring continuous adherence to security policies. Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to entry-level Security Assistants, ensuring consistent and accurate application of security procedures across the team. The pay range for this full-time role is estimated between $21 and $24 per hour, with the final offer dependent on location, skills, and experience. Overall, the Security Assistant II position at CNI offers a comprehensive career opportunity within a respected and forward-thinking company that values security excellence and employee growth.
