The Security & Operations Coordinator position at Brilliant Earth is a part-time opportunity based in the Secaucus, NJ Distribution Center. Reporting directly to the Corporate Security Manager, this role is critical in supporting daily security operations and managing on-site facility coordination. The Security & Operations Coordinator acts as a central point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will work two 10-hour day shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the targeted pay range from $21 to $25 per hour, subject to change at management's discretion.

This role requires the individual to oversee security access management, enforce entry and exit protocols, and maintain physical security systems. Responsibilities also include managing visitor check-ins, handling guest fobs, conducting security patrols, and monitoring third-party vendors. The Coordinator is instrumental in supporting opening and closing procedures of the facility and serves as the on-site liaison for emergency responders such as police, fire, and EMS. Additionally, the role involves managing security systems encompassing CCTV, access control, alarms, and handling security tickets related to these systems.

Facility support constitutes another significant facet of the position, with duties extending to filing and following up on maintenance tickets, coordinating with vendors, and briefing external contractors on site-specific concerns. The Coordinator ensures that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and escalates urgent issues to appropriate teams promptly. This position requires a balance between independent work and teamwork, with a strong focus on reliability, punctuality, and confidentiality.

With over one year of experience in operations, facilities, or related fields—and a preference for backgrounds in loss prevention, security, or distribution center environments—the successful candidate brings a proactive customer service orientation. They must be tech-savvy, capable of navigating multiple software tools, and quick to learn new systems related to security and operations. Effective communication skills are essential, along with a professional demeanor that can maintain confidentiality and positively interact with various stakeholders.

Overall, this role provides an exciting chance to contribute to the safety and operational excellence of a prominent company celebrated for its ethical standards and innovative approach in the jewelry industry. Candidates looking to grow within a passionate, forward-thinking team will find this position fulfilling and impactful.
