Job Description

Securitas is a leading global provider of security services dedicated to protecting homes, workplaces, and communities by safeguarding assets and people while ensuring business continuity and profitability. With a reputation founded on core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, Securitas employs professionals who are trusted to provide vigilant, reliable security. These core values shape the culture and standards of service delivered to clients, fostering an environment of safety and trust. As a security services company, Securitas offers innovative solutions and workforce expertise across various sectors, including mobile patrol, static guarding, and security operations centers (SOC).

We are currently hiring a full-time Security Account Manager in Milwaukee, WI, offering a competitive annual salary of $65,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. This position supports a 24/7 security operation and requires flexibility to accommodate evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, despite the primary schedule being weekday business hours. This role is essential in managing a large, high-profile account portfolio that spans multiple sites and service lines. The successful candidate will fulfill a hands-on leadership position that emphasizes driving operational excellence, developing frontline leaders, and maintaining outstanding client relationships.

The Security Account Manager will act as the primary liaison to clients, ensuring their expectations are not only met but exceeded consistently through diligent monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual service standards. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to thrive in a high-visibility and dynamic environment. The manager will oversee staffing and operations across shifts, including an active presence during 2nd and 3rd shifts to ensure operational continuity and employee support. Responsibilities will include conducting site visits, performing operational audits, workforce planning, scheduling, cost control, and revising post orders to maintain compliance and service consistency.

Team leadership and development will be a core focus—leading, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and security personnel to foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Handling disciplinary measures, improving team performance, and employee retention will be key leadership activities. The role also entails quality assurance and compliance functions such as ensuring adherence to policies and regulations, incident reporting and investigation, and performance evaluations with improvement plans when necessary.

At Securitas, the client experience is paramount. The Security Account Manager will build trusted, solution-oriented partnerships with clients through proactive communication, responsiveness, and accountability. Anticipating client needs, resolving concerns promptly, and delivering outstanding service to strengthen long-term relationships will be critical components of this role.

This is a primarily field-based role that incorporates regular office work for client meetings and leadership collaboration. Candidates must have a strong background in security leadership with at least five years of experience managing large or multi-site accounts and a proven ability to develop employees and manage client relationships effectively. A high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and proficiency in basic computer applications are required. Candidates must also be willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug screening and background checks.

Securitas is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all walks of life who embrace the company's values and mission to protect and serve. Joining our team provides not only a rewarding career but access to excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) options, paid time off, weekly pay, employee assistance programs, and more. If you are a dedicated security professional ready to advance your career with a leader in security solutions, we encourage you to apply.
