We are currently seeking a full-time Security Agent to join The Lenox Hotel's security team during the night and overnight shifts. This role is integral to maintaining a safe, secure, and friendly atmosphere for all guests and staff members. The Security Agent will serve as an ambassador of the hotel, providing a warm greeting and a sense of safety to everyone who enters the premises. The role demands a vigilant presence to ensure the hotel's interior and exterior remain secure, including conducting periodic security tours and promptly addressing any security concerns. The position requires availability to work specific hours, notably from 11pm to 7am on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 6:30pm to 2:30am on three other nights each week.

Key responsibilities for this role include greeting guests and visitors with hospitality, assisting with inquiries regarding hotel amenities and services, and helping to manage restaurant occupancy and ID verification alongside restaurant security. Additionally, the Security Agent supports overnight operations by delivering items such as room service orders and attending to valet requests. Effective communication skills and the ability to deescalate security situations in a respectful and safe manner are crucial. The role also includes accurately reporting security issues in a timely fashion to ensure the safety and well-being of all hotel guests and employees. Candidates with prior security experience in a hotel environment are preferred, but a strong guest-focused mindset and the ability to engage positively with the public are highly valued. The Lenox Hotel offers a competitive hourly wage of $26 to $27 and comprehensive benefits to support the well-being and professional growth of its valued employees.
