As a major player in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, Mondelēz International operates extensively in the United States, which is its largest market. The company boasts a substantial manufacturing footprint across the country, supported by corporate offices, sales, manufacturing, and distribution locations. This extensive presence enables Mondelēz to provide its consumers with the right snack at the right moment, made the right way. The company is committed to sustainable operations, high-quality products, and fostering an inclusive workplace. Offering a competitive salary range from $122,000 to $167,750, along with participation in a performance-based bonus program, Mondelēz International stands out as an employer of choice for manufacturing and operations professionals. The role of Manufacturing Leader at Mondelēz International involves leading production operations within a plant setting to achieve key performance targets, including safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost control, sustainability, and organizational morale. This position requires the implementation of the company’s manufacturing strategy to foster high-performing teams driven by continuous improvement and adherence to manufacturing standards and governance. As a leader, you will oversee multiple production lines, ensuring compliance with corporate quality, food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), health and safety regulations, sustainability practices, and legal requirements. You will spearhead the transformation and operational change initiatives such as Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S), Factory of the Future (FoF), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and line-centric organizational models, aiming for autonomous, self-sufficient teams that embody the company’s values. Collaboration with multi-functional teams is crucial for achieving business objectives, goals, and KPIs. You will also play a central role in talent management by attracting, retaining, and developing critical capabilities across technical and behavioral competencies needed to build a sustainable workforce. In addition, you will manage operational budgets, capital investment planning, and coordinate with various departments to encourage a zero-loss mindset and continuous operational improvements. This leadership role demands strong financial and business acumen, expertise in project management, and a deep understanding of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be employee development, including coaching, mentoring, and aligning individual career goals with business needs to maintain high engagement and morale. Mondelēz International encourages personal growth and expects its leaders to stay abreast of managerial and technical competencies inside and outside the company. Equipped with inspirational leadership skills, the Manufacturing Leader will drive change, motivate teams, and uphold the highest standards for product quality and workplace safety in a 24/7 operation environment. The company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing accommodations throughout the application process. Join Mondelēz International and lead the future of snacking by making it with pride and dedication.
