The role of Security Supervisor at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts is pivotal in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees. The Security Supervisor is entrusted with safeguarding the hotel’s assets, personnel, guests, vendors, and visitors by supervising and guiding a team of security officers to ensure the execution of all security protocols and operations efficiently and effectively. This position requires a dedicated individual who can respond promptly to any safety concerns or emergencies such as fire, accidents, or threatening situations, while also fostering a culture of attentiveness and professionalism within the security team. The Security Supervisor oversees comprehensive training for new security officers, monitors their performance, conducts detailed daily reporting, and facilitates key control audits to ensure strict adherence to security measures.

Key responsibilities include patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance systems, investigating violations of laws or hotel policies, correcting fire hazards, and maintaining accurate records of all security actions and incidents.   • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Certification in CPR First Aid desired

Job Duties

  • Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates and hotel premises
  • Oversee comprehensive training for new Officers
  • Monitor staff performance and activities
  • Complete several types of reports on a daily basis
  • Identify and correct, or report potentially hazardous conditions or situations
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, accident and safety concerns
  • Patrol the property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported
  • Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
  • Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
  • Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
  • Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
