Job Description
Towne Park is a leading hospitality services company dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences that bring smiles and comfort to millions of people every day. Specializing in premium valet and parking services, Towne Park operates across various prestigious venues including hotels, hospitals, stadiums, and airports. The company stands out for its strong commitment to service excellence and its mission to positively impact the day-to-day lives of customers, clients, and colleagues alike. At Towne Park, the focus goes beyond mere job responsibilities to truly making a difference in the community and the experiences of each guest they serve. Known for its supportive work environment and customer-centered culture, Towne Park provides employees with opportunities to grow professionally while contributing in meaningful ways.
Currently, Towne Park is hiring Valet Drivers for the Minneapolis Marriott Hotel in a seasonal capacity lasting through August 2026. This role offers a starting pay of $16 per hour plus additional tipping income ranging from $4 to $9 per hour. Towne Park does not require prior experience, making this position accessible to individuals eager to begin their career in hospitality services. Work schedules are flexible and include shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays at either the Minneapolis Marriott or Rand Tower Hotel.
The Valet Driver role is vital to the guest experience, centered around providing attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services. Key responsibilities include safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles while ensuring high standards of guest interaction and communication throughout the process. Valet Drivers assist guests with luggage handling and provide directional guidance, taxi arrangements, and hotel or local area information. Additionally, Valets manage all ticketing and payment processes associated with valet parking, contributing to smooth and secure operations.
Safety, professional etiquette, and a welcoming attitude are essential attributes for this position. Valet Drivers at Towne Park are expected to engage guests positively, greeting them courteously within five feet of encounter and using appropriate salutations including guest last names when possible. The job requires physical activity and the ability to withstand various weather conditions since much of the work takes place outdoors during shifts. Employees must be able to lift and move luggage and other items, occasionally up to 100 pounds, and exhibit strong situational awareness while maneuvering vehicles carefully.
Although seasonal and temporary roles like this one are not eligible for certain comprehensive benefits, Towne Park offers employees access to optional accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine services, and a company 401k retirement savings plan depending on eligibility. These offerings demonstrate Towne Park's commitment to supporting its workforce.
For those passionate about hospitality and looking to play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for guests, the Valet Driver position at Towne Park represents a fulfilling opportunity. Combining competitive compensation with the chance to be part of a company focused on exceptional service and positive impact, this role blends entry-level accessibility with meaningful customer interaction in a dynamic environment.
