The Guest Service Associate role is a frontline position critical to executing Towne Park’s mission of delivering exceptional service. This role involves greeting guests warmly, managing vehicle parking and retrieval safely, and assisting guests with various needs like luggage handling, directions, and information about local amenities. The position requires a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to engage guests using courteous communication, including addressing guests by their last names and using appropriate salutations.

This is a seasonal role with shifts available in the morning, mid, and night times, including weekend availability. The hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00, plus tips, reflecting the company’s dedication to fair and competitive compensation based on skills, experience, and location. While seasonal and temporary employees are not eligible for full benefits, Towne Park offers insurance options and a 401(k) plan to eligible employees based on hours worked and employment status.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • Practices proper phone etiquette
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provides information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttles guests to approved locations
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issues claim checks after receiving keys and collects claim checks before returning keys
  • Completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
