The Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is an integral role focused on enhancing the guest experience through exceptional hospitality and attentive service. This role requires the associate to manage vehicle parking and retrieval in a prompt yet safe manner while also assisting guests with luggage during arrivals and departures. The position is seasonal and features a competitive hourly base pay of $10.98 plus tips that typically range between $6 and $10 per hour, making the compensation attractive for individuals seeking hospitality or service industry roles with flexible scheduling.

This role demands a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, with responsibilities including greeting guests warmly using their last names, communicating parking rates and retrieval procedures, and maintaining accurate ticket information ensuring a smooth and efficient parking process. Physical fitness is an essential component given the nature of the work involving lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and prolonged periods outdoors where associates may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. Comfortable handling manual parking operations, including operating vehicles with manual transmissions and performing parallel parking, is highly desirable. The ability to perform basic math, understand scheduling, and communicate effectively in English is critical for ensuring compliance with parking protocols and providing accurate information to guests.

Employees in this role must hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate at least one month of related experience or equivalent training. Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Park and retrieve vehicles driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
