The Valet Attendant role at Premium Parking is an essential position that directly impacts the guest experience by providing a warm welcome, expert vehicle care, and efficient service throughout the parking process. This role requires not only excellent driving skills to safely park and retrieve vehicles of various sizes but also strong interpersonal skills to engage courteously and professionally with guests. Valet Attendants at Premium Parking uphold the company’s high standards in guest service, vehicle handling, safety protocols, and facility maintenance. The position is typically offered as a temporary role with available shifts from 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, with the possibility to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
In this role, Valet Attendants are responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival and departure while providing clear directions and assistance with any parking-related inquiries. They manage the flow of vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring that all parking operations run smoothly while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies. Valet Attendants must maintain a polished and professional appearance and adhere to all safety and operational guidelines, including proper documentation of vehicle conditions to minimize liability. Furthermore, this position requires physical stamina, including the ability to walk briskly, stand for extended periods, and handle luggage or parcels when assisting guests.
Additionally, Valet Attendants support facility upkeep by keeping parking areas clean and orderly and assisting with signage and event traffic management. The role entails adherence to safety regulations, including carrying a valid driver's license and following established procedures for vehicle handling and emergency situations. This position also involves some technical tasks such as issuing tickets, recording vehicle details, and utilizing site-specific technology for scanning and tracking purposes.

Job Requirements
- valid driver's license required
- three years of licensed driving experience
- must be able to drive and operate a standard and automatic transmission vehicle comfortably
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- previous experience preferred
- a minimum of six months of work experience preferred
- walk at a brisk pace or jog
- bending, sitting, and standing repeatedly
- pulling and pushing, as in opening and closing car doors, consistently for entire shift
- may be required to bend and twist as in getting in and out of a vehicle
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- must be able to push up to 100 pounds on a luggage cart
- must be able to stand, walk and or jog for an entire shift
- depth perception: the ability to identify which of several objects is closer or farther away
- exposure to all weather conditions, including but not limited to: rain, cold, heat, and humidity

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- provide clear directions, answer questions, and assist with any parking related needs
- maintain a courteous and service focused approach at all times
- assist hotel guests with luggage or parcels
- safely park, maneuver, and retrieve vehicles of various sizes with both automatic and standard transmissions
- issue tickets, record necessary details, and follow all location specific procedures for validations, hotel guests, events, or monthly parkers
- return keys promptly to the designated storage area and maintain an organized keyboard
- document all preexisting vehicle damage according to operational procedures to reduce liability
- operate equipment such as car lifts or man lifts when applicable, following all safety protocols
- direct incoming vehicles using approved hand signals or a flag to maintain clear entry lanes
- keep all drive lanes clear by ensuring vehicles pull up efficiently and are parked appropriately
- maintain a clean and orderly parking environment by removing debris, sweeping, and emptying trash as needed
- assist with signage setup, adjustments, and replacements
- immediately communicate safety hazards, equipment issues, or unusual activity to leadership
- follow all safety procedures, including proper equipment use and adherence to traffic flow guidelines
- carry a valid driver's license at all times while operating vehicles
- support special event operations by managing increased traffic flow and guest needs
- complete required checklists and operational documentation for the shift
- scan tickets, employee barcodes, or vehicle information based on site technology
