The opportunity at Intuit as a Tax Expert - TurboTax Store is a unique seasonal and year-round role based in one of the new TurboTax retail locations across the United States. This role is ideal for proactive individuals with a passion for taxation and community involvement, who want to blend entrepreneurial spirit with tax expertise. The Tax Expert will work on-site, serving as a trusted advisor and ambassador for TurboTax within their local community, building long-term relationships with clients and driving customer loyalty. This position combines customer-facing interactions with expert tax preparation and advisory services, supporting customers both in-person and virtually.

As a Tax Expert, you will be instrumental in attracting new customers to the TurboTax brand in your area, utilizing TurboTax marketing resources and software solutions to grow your client portfolio. Your role involves providing comprehensive tax return preparation, detailed tax advice, and personalized support that caters to the unique financial situations of each client. Whether helping with simple individual tax returns or complex filings involving business income and amendments, your expertise will help reduce clients’ tax liabilities and maximize their refunds. You will also play a key role in educating the community at events and through content creation, making tax-related topics more approachable and understandable.

This position requires you to be highly personable and professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers authentically. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, operating Sunday through Saturday and adapting to peak periods during tax season. Intuit offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $28.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on location, along with performance-based rewards, cash bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
