This job opportunity is for the position of Tax Associate - TurboTax Store, offered on a seasonal or year-round basis, located in one of Intuit’s new TurboTax retail locations across the United States. This role is designed for highly motivated professionals with a passion for tax expertise, community engagement, and entrepreneurial spirit. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for bringing new customers into the TurboTax ecosystem and serving as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their tax preparation needs using TurboTax software and professional knowledge. The position requires onsite presence at a retail or flagship TurboTax location, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate varying availability during peak tax season and beyond.

In this role, you will engage with clients both in-person and virtually, providing comprehensive tax return preparation, tax advice, and customer support. Your tax expertise will help clients navigate simple to complex tax scenarios, including personal and business income filings, deductions optimization, and amendments. You will conduct discovery sessions to identify the best tax strategies for each client's unique circumstances, aiming to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing refunds. Utilizing resources such as government websites and professional tax tools, your role will emphasize delivering accurate and personalized tax solutions in clear, understandable language.

Beyond the technical tax responsibilities, this role emphasizes community involvement and relationship building. As a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax, you will represent the brand locally, lead and participate in marketing events, and establish lasting relationships with clients. Your interpersonal skills will be key in creating a welcoming, friendly environment that fosters customer loyalty and trust.
