The Tax Associate - TurboTax Store is a dynamic, seasonal or year-round position located at new TurboTax storefronts throughout the United States. This role combines tax expertise with entrepreneurial drive and community involvement to help clients navigate their tax obligations efficiently and confidently. As a Tax Associate, you will work onsite at a TurboTax location to grow the local client base by serving as a trusted advisor, providing personalized tax preparation services, and facilitating financial planning discussions. You will utilize TurboTax products and marketing support to build strong client relationships, converting one-time users into loyal customers through exceptional service and ongoing engagement.

In this role, you will be the face of TurboTax in your community, actively representing the brand at local events, conducting outreach, and delivering accessible tax education. Your responsibilities include hands-on tax preparation, offering advice on deductions and tax strategies, managing complex tax scenarios, and supporting both in-person and virtual client interactions. You will leverage your expertise using professional tax software and resources to ensure accuracy and compliance while maintaining clear and understandable communication with clients.

It offers competitive compensation that reflects a pay-for-performance philosophy with base pay ranging from approximately $22 to $28.50 per hour depending on state location, plus bonuses and equity rewards.
