Job Description

With a mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World," Intuit seeks to empower millions of customers by providing user-friendly tools and expert support. TurboTax is one of Intuit's flagship offerings, a tax preparation software that has become synonymous with convenient, accurate, and reliable tax filing. In line with its expansion, Intuit is opening new TurboTax Store locations across the United States and is actively recruiting motivated professionals to join as Tax Associates on a seasonal or year-round basis.

As a Tax Associate, you will provide comprehensive tax return preparation, expert advice, and product support. Your responsibilities extend from offering guidance on simple individual returns to handling complex fiscal scenarios involving personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendments.

You will be expected to create an elevated customer experience by leveraging your tax knowledge and interpersonal skills. You will interact with clients both in person and through advanced video communication tools, understanding their unique situations and alleviating potential stress associated with tax season. Alongside tax preparation, you will participate in community outreach programs, network at local events, and use social media to foster TurboTax's presence and trust within the community.

This nonexempt role requires working onsite at a TurboTax location with flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, especially during high-demand seasons. Compensation varies by location, with competitive hourly wages ranging approximately from $22.00 to $28.50 depending on state and market conditions, plus eligibility for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and a benefits package aligned with Intuit's policies. The company values diversity, inclusion, and pay equity, ensuring fair treatment and development opportunities for all employees.

Overall, this role is ideal for tax professionals who are passionate about community engagement, entrepreneurial growth, and providing outstanding tax services. Whether you have extensive tax credentialing as an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney, or possess deep experience filing numerous tax returns efficiently, Intuit offers a platform to grow your career within a supportive, innovative, and highly respected company in the financial technology industry.
