This part-time seasonal position, offering an hourly pay rate of $18 plus tips and incentives, is responsible for being the face of the tasting room, serving as the first point of contact for visitors. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • RBS and food handler's certified or ability to obtain certification
  • ability to stand continuously and actively work full shift
  • ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs continuously and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs intermittently
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and occasional evenings
  • ability to address and talk to large groups
  • ability to multitask

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • RBS and food handler's certified required or ability to obtain certification
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • exemplary customer service skills
  • prior hospitality, winery, or front of house restaurant experience
  • previous experience with POS, Commerce 7, bLoyal, Tock a plus
  • retail sales experience including ability to present product, upsell and cross sell

Job Duties

  • Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
  • open, close and operate cash registers and POS systems
  • sell wine, merchandise and wine club memberships to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • provide service and hospitality that exceeds guests' expectations
  • cross sell and promote The Olive Press and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards
  • be informed on local hospitality offerings and make recommendations to guests
  • maintain tasting room organization, inventory and stock supplies
  • assist DTC warehouse by packing shipping orders during slow periods
  • address and talk to large groups of people while helping multiple groups behind the bar
