Job Description

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is one of the world's largest wine companies, renowned for its impressive portfolio of heritage-rich, high-quality wine brands. The Treasury America's collection of wines exemplifies excellence and has gained recognition across the globe. TWE operates with a clear purpose: Boldly Cultivating. This philosophy drives the company to cultivate value through its brands, products, people, and environmental efforts, aiming to enrich communities and create joyful experiences worldwide. As a global leader in the wine industry, TWE emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth, encouraging its teams to push boundaries and make bold decisions that enhance the company's global reputation. The company aspires to become the world's most desirable luxury wine company, celebrated for the immersive experiences it offers to consumers, customers, partners, suppliers, and employees alike.

Sterling Vineyards, part of the Treasury Wine Estates family, stands out as one of the most visited wineries in Napa Valley. It is internationally recognized for its unique ambiance, modeled after a Greek monastery, perched 300 feet above the valley floor. Visitors access the winery via an aerial tram and enjoy top-quality Bordeaux varietals alongside breathtaking 360-degree views of Napa Valley. After a temporary closure due to the Glass Fire in September 2020, Sterling Vineyards is set to reopen in October 2023, featuring a new gondola system, thoughtfully redesigned visitor spaces, and an updated approach to Napa Valley hospitality.

The role of Seasonal Concierge at Sterling Vineyards is essential in providing guests with a welcoming and informative experience. This position is primarily customer-facing, involving greeting visitors warmly and ensuring they have comprehensive knowledge of the wine tasting experiences available. The concierge acts as a reservationist, handling bookings either over the phone or in-person, and managing guest information within the reservation system. The ideal candidate maintains a courteous and professional demeanor while supporting the retail sales team and assisting with general tasting room operations. Availability during weekends is a necessity for this seasonal role, reflecting the winery's busiest visitor times. This position offers hourly pay ranging between $21 and $25, contingent on experience and skills, with eligibility to participate in incentive compensation plans based on site performance, thus providing an attractive earning potential for candidates passionate about hospitality and the wine industry. Overall, this opportunity combines the charm of Napa Valley with the heritage of an established global brand, perfect for customer service-oriented individuals eager to be part of a dynamic, growth-driven environment.
