Homesense on Woodruff Rd in Greenville, SC, is currently seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join their team. The position is a frontline role responsible for ensuring that every customer leaves the store satisfied by engaging warmly, providing helpful assistance, and maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment. As a member of the Homesense team, you will be cross-trained in various areas of the store to support overall business needs. Key responsibilities include accurately handling transactions, promoting company credit and loyalty programs, managing merchandise on the sales floor, and maintaining organizational standards throughout the store. Team members participate actively in store recovery processes and contribute to shrinking reduction programs and safety initiatives.
This hourly position offers a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour, with actual wages determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience preferred
- ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
- supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
- accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures
- promotes credit and loyalty programs
- maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
- accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
- initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
