Job Description

Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, located in Chula Vista, California, is a premier destination known for its expansive meeting spaces, luxurious accommodations, and unique hospitality experiences. We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a seasonal, full-time position within our Golf, Fitness, and Entertainment department from June 9, 2026, to August 16, 2026. The role is non-management and focuses on delivering outstanding customer service during a variety of exhibitions and shows. As a key member of our operations team, you will be tasked with operating attractions or events, ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable experience throughout their visit. This includes selling tickets and merchandise using our point of sale system, providing guests with accurate and suggestive information, and maintaining displays as necessary.

Your responsibilities will also involve managing cash registers, handling bank deposits in line with established cash control procedures, and responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, in person, or electronically. Providing clear directions and guiding guests to appropriate locations will be part of your daily duties, contributing to a seamless guest experience. In addition, you will uphold all company policies and procedures, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality of company information, and protecting company assets.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience using point of sale systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk during entire shifts
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
