We are currently inviting applications for the role of Seasonal Server at The Nest, Thompson Seattle’s acclaimed rooftop lounge. This seasonal position runs from mid-May through the end of September, with exact dates subject to change based on business needs. Candidates must have full open availability throughout the season to be considered. As a Seasonal Server, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service to guests, ensuring their time at The Nest is memorable and enjoyable. You will engage with guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, using your communication and hospitality skills to meet their needs promptly and professionally. The role offers an hourly wage starting at $18.00 plus a 20% taxable service charge distributed among service staff, with additional gratuities kept by the server. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about hospitality and providing excellent guest experiences in a unique rooftop setting. Job Requirements

  • Must maintain open availability for the entire season from mid-May to end of September
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Must possess MAST certification
  • Previous bartending experience at a luxury location preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Mast certification required

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve guests promptly and courteously at the rooftop lounge
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience by attending to their needs and responding to inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and tables
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to provide seamless service
  • Handle payment transactions and apply service charges accordingly
  • Uphold health and safety standards and adhere to company policies
