The part-time Server position at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes is a seasonal role from Memorial Day through Labor Day, specifically requiring availability on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 9 PM. This role sits within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category and is non-management in nature. As a Server, your primary responsibility is to provide outstanding service by serving food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests while maintaining high standards and adherence to company policies and safety protocols. You will be responsible for setting tables according to the type of event and service standards, answering questions regarding menu selections, and effectively communicating with the kitchen staff about meal requirements, allergies, special requests, and any issues related to order preparation.
