The resort prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where associates from various cultural backgrounds collaborate to create memorable experiences for visitors from around the globe.
This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role at The Resort at Pelican Hill offers an hourly wage of $16.90 and an opportunity to be part of a passionate and dynamic team dedicated to excellence in guest service. As a valued member of the team, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional dining experiences, welcoming guests warmly, attending to their needs promptly, and ensuring each interaction is marked by professionalism and courtesy. This position is tip eligible, enhancing the total earnings potential for motivated individuals.
The role involves much more than serving food and beverages; it is about creating a memorable atmosphere where guests feel genuinely valued and cared for. You will be expected to have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, help guests with special requests, and offer recommendations that enhance their dining enjoyment. Interactions with guests include greeting them with genuine warmth, ensuring tables are impeccably set, and maintaining an inviting environment throughout their visit.
Physical stamina and professionalism are essential for this role, as it requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. A clean and well-maintained uniform is obligatory, reflecting the high standards upheld by the resort. Training and certification on workplace safety are prerequisites before employment begins, ensuring that all associates operate in a secure and compliant manner.
Joining The Resort at Pelican Hill means embedding yourself in a culture that values teamwork, continuous learning, and personal growth. The resort offers various employee benefits, including discounts on hotel rooms, gift shop merchandise, food and beverages, and wellness programs. Recognition programs celebrate associates' contributions, and motivational management fosters a supportive work atmosphere. Employees are encouraged to develop their skills and explore diverse career opportunities within the hospitality industry.
Whether you are new to the hospitality sector or an experienced professional, this role provides a platform to combine your passion for food and beverages with a commitment to outstanding guest service. Your positive attitude, conversational skills, and teamwork orientation will be crucial assets in ensuring each guest leaves with an extraordinary dining experience at The Resort at Pelican Hill. Become part of a global family where your talents are recognized, your growth is supported, and your work makes a meaningful impact.
