Job Requirements
- Must be available from Memorial Day through Labor Day
- available Friday and Saturday evening shifts (4:00 PM-10:00 PM)
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
- ability to reach overhead and below the knees
- completion of safety training and certifications
- adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least one year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and security procedures
- professional and clean personal appearance
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to type of event and service standards
- answer questions on menu selections
- communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cooks, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights
- present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payment
