The position being offered is an integral part of the food and beverage service team at St. Regis. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, courteous, and efficient presentation of food and beverages to guests. This role is key in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring the cleanliness, setup, and maintenance of service areas, greeting guests warmly, and responding to their needs promptly and with a hospitable attitude. The attendant will serve water, bread, and coffee during meal service, stack trays correctly for efficient clearing, and perform closing duties that include cleaning and securing the workstations and equipment.
In addition to direct guest service, the role demands strict adherence to health and safety standards. Employees will maintain cleanliness continuously through clean-as-you-go practices, inspect and present all china, glass, and silverware impeccably, and follow all company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment. Physical demands of the job include standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The position also requires effective communication skills, professionalism in appearance and demeanor, and a cooperative spirit to support team goals and address workplace concerns.
