This job opportunity is for a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage Service position located at the St. Regis Hotel in Newport Beach, California. The position offers a pay rate of $16.90 per hour and is eligible for tips. The role focuses on delivering professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience according to the St. Regis brand standards. Employees in this role are responsible for a variety of tasks including setting up and cleaning tables, serving water, bread, and coffee, greeting guests by name when possible, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the service areas. The position requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols and involves some physical activity such as standing or walking for extended periods, lifting weights up to 50 pounds, and operating in a more physically demanding environment like uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs.
In addition to food and beverage service duties, employees must also complete closing tasks such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and securing the work area at the end of the shift. Clean-as-you-go practices are emphasized to maintain health and safety standards consistently.
