Job Description

Cinepolis USA is a premier luxury cinema exhibitor that elevates the movie-going experience beyond the ordinary. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis operates 26 luxury and premium theaters across multiple states including California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with continued plans for expansion. As a key part of Cinepolis International—the leading global movie theater exhibitor—Cinepolis USA combines innovation, outstanding film programming, and world-class hospitality to provide a memorable and enhanced entertainment atmosphere. Known for its unique theater concepts such as "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery," the company focuses on delivering comfort, premium food and beverage service, and an immersive movie experience. This commitment to excellence distinguishes Cinepolis from traditional cinema chains by creating a setting where guests can enjoy films in a luxurious environment coupled with exceptional customer care.

Joining Cinepolis as a Team Member presents an opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality team dedicated to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The position is located within our theater operations and reports directly to the General Manager. Team members are integral to the smooth running of daily activities and the overall guest experience. The role is designed for individuals passionate about guest service, hospitality, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Employees are expected to proactively greet and assist guests, provide knowledge of the menu including promotions and upsells, and ensure all food and beverage orders are handled professionally and efficiently using the Vista Point of Sale system. This service mindset extends to maintaining theater cleanliness and helping with crowd control, with a strong emphasis on delivering the signature "Nice and Amazing Service" Cinepolis is known for.

The position offers competitive base pay ranging from $16.90 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting the premium service standards and skilled responsibilities required. Beyond financial compensation, team members enjoy generous employee discounts on tickets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages, along with milestone gifts to recognize tenure and dedication. The role requires candidates to be at least 18 years of age and possess one or more years of full-service serving experience, along with valid ServSafe, Food Handler, and Alcohol certifications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Physical demands are considerable given the nature of the role, including walking, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. The work environment is typical of cinema theaters with varying noise levels and requires flexibility in scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Cinepolis USA embraces diversity and inclusion in its workforce, committing to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, or other legally protected characteristics. Joining Cinepolis means becoming part of a forward-thinking company that values its employees and offers a platform for career growth in the hospitality and entertainment industries.
