Job Description
The Club at ArrowCreek, located in Reno, NV, is a distinguished and vibrant golf and community club that offers a premier hospitality experience to its members and guests. As part of Troon, the world’s largest professional club management company, The Club at ArrowCreek benefits from being affiliated with a global leader in golf, community management, and hospitality services. Troon, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, manages over 900 locations across more than 45 states and 27 countries, making it a recognized name in the hospitality industry. This affiliation provides employees with access to extensive resources, training, and career growth opportunities within a respected and proven organization. The Club at ArrowCreek prides itself on delivering exceptional guest services, maintaining a positive company culture, and fostering a supportive and energetic environment where team members can thrive.
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Server to join our dedicated team for a rewarding career opportunity. The Seasonal Server position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This role involves delivering prompt, professional, and courteous food and beverage service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience in line with the club’s high standards.
The Seasonal Server will play a vital part in contributing to the club’s mission by acting with integrity, honesty, and embodying the organization's cultural values. Candidates will be responsible for quickly attending to guests upon seating, describing menu specials, answering questions, making recommendations based on guest preferences, and handling special nutritional and allergy requirements with precision and care. The role also involves close cooperation with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, practicing safe work routines, managing cash and POS transactions, and providing attentive service such as refilling drinks and responding to guest needs throughout their meals are also essential responsibilities.
This position requires participation in pre-shift meetings and taste tests, reinforcing the importance of team communication and menu knowledge. A strong focus on maintaining hospitality standards through tray service, general service techniques, and a positive attitude toward team collaboration is expected. The Seasonal Server role is highly interactive, demanding excellent communication skills, basic math abilities, and the physical capacity to move throughout the dining areas efficiently. Regular and reliable attendance is critical to maintaining smooth operation flow.
Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), with some related experience or training considered advantageous. The position may require handling alcoholic beverages in compliance with state age regulations and completion of relevant certifications such as Food Safety, Sanitation Training, and Alcohol Awareness Training, emphasizing a commitment to responsible service. The job environment involves moderate noise levels and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions, making adaptability an important characteristic for candidates.
Working at The Club at ArrowCreek means joining a team that values energetic engagement, kindness, and professional growth. The employer is committed to equal opportunity employment and offers competitive compensation with pay at $14.00 per hour for this role. As part of Troon’s esteemed network, employees benefit from a culture that promotes continuous professional development within the golf and hospitality sectors. This seasonal server position is a perfect entry point for individuals looking to build a career in hospitality or enhance their existing skills while contributing to an outstanding guest experience.
