Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- previous serving experience
- must be able to pass Canterbury Park's pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history
- must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license

- previous serving experience
- ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of cash, credit and coupon handling procedures
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead by example
- responsible for maintaining a high degree of hospitality as well as a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- create high levels of morale, foster teamwork, inspire collaboration, and provide suggestions for growth to management
- maintain prompt and courteous service to all Canterbury Park guests
- responsible for assigned work station set-up and maintaining clean and neat station throughout shift
- responsible for serving guests, taking and delivering orders of food and refreshment with high degree of hospitality and finalizing transactions accurately
- accountable to learn and follow all policies and procedures in conjunction with alcohol awareness training (refusing service, asking for IDs, etc.)
- follow cash, credit and coupon handling procedures
- in charge of restocking and resetting of work station for next shift
- responsible for maintaining clean tables in the assigned area throughout the shift
- perform other duties as assigned
