Job Description

Edison House is a premier social club located in downtown Salt Lake City, offering an expansive and brand new 30,000 square foot clubhouse that features a unique blend of amenities. These amenities include two distinct restaurant concepts, four vibrant bars, a state-of-the-art workout facility, private event spaces, a concert venue, and an exclusive rooftop pool. This facility serves as more than just a club; it is a vibrant hub designed to foster community, creativity, and memorable experiences for its members. Members enjoy access to exceptional dining, entertainment, and wellness options in a setting that combines luxury and comfort. The club's approach to hospitality revolves around cultivating special moments that leave lasting impressions, and every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to enhance the member experience.

The role of the Server at Edison House is fundamental to this mission, as it centers on delivering impeccable hospitality that goes beyond the traditional scope of simply taking food and beverage orders. We are building a team of creative, ambitious, and self-motivated individuals who are excited to contribute to a one-of-a-kind project within Salt Lake City. The Server position requires a detailed-oriented and passionate professional who is dedicated to providing a flawless guest experience. This involves engaging members by guiding them through a carefully curated menu designed by our Chef, as well as navigating our sophisticated cocktail and wine programs with expertise.

The ideal candidate for the Server role at Edison House should have previous experience in an upscale or fine dining atmosphere, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in every interaction. As a Server, you will be empowered to take initiative and act independently, while also showing a readiness to collaborate within a dynamic team setting. This role demands creativity and boundless energy, with a strong focus on elevating the member experience through exceptional service standards.

More than just hospitality, the Server will contribute actively to member programming, which is central to the club’s mission of connecting people and broadening their cultural and culinary horizons. The position requires a professional appearance and grooming standards that align with those of a premier fine dining restaurant. An interest in wine, as well as a commitment to ongoing education in wine and spirits, is highly preferred. We seek candidates who can personify our core values and culture, embodying traits such as organization, leadership, commitment to excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Edison House supports employees in their growth and encourages a culture of autonomy, self-improvement, and collaboration. Those who join our Server team will find a fast-paced and rewarding environment where they can thrive. This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who want to be part of a forward-thinking and innovative establishment that values every member's satisfaction and experience. Our club operates with a clear focus on quality, consistency, and the dedication needed to create a best-in-state entertainment and dining culture. Join us and help shape memorable moments that define the Edison House experience.
