Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid food handlers' card required within 30 days or per state/local regulations
  • Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and sampling products
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Must be able to handle cash transactions

Job Qualifications

  • Valid food handlers' card within 30 days of employment or as required
  • Experience in food service, fast casual dining, or hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests with patience and positivity throughout their visit
  • Maintain knowledge of brand, production techniques, and flavor profiles to educate guests
  • Scoop perfect portions following shop standards
  • Process transactions accurately using POS system
  • Prepare, label, and store waffle batter and cones
  • Adhere to shop, food quality, and safety standards including cleaning duties
  • Replenish retail products, freezers, and supplies
  • Consolidate and replenish ice cream stock
  • Pack third-party delivery orders accurately
  • Answer phones and respond to product inquiries
  • Facilitate line flow and promote online ordering
  • Taste and sample ice cream daily to communicate flavor qualities
