Job Duties

  • Prepare nutritious, appealing meals and snacks that meet children’s developmental needs
  • Encourage healthy eating habits and positive food experiences
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and licensing standards
  • Monitor and accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Maintain accurate records of food allergies and meal substitutions
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and guidelines
  • Follow menus developed in collaboration with the Director
  • Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and cost control
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Partner with leadership and teachers to support overall child well-being
  • Contribute to a positive school culture focused on care and development
