Job Duties
- Prepare nutritious, appealing meals and snacks that meet children’s developmental needs
- encourage healthy eating habits and positive food experiences
- maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and licensing standards
- monitor and accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions
- maintain accurate records of food allergies and meal substitutions
- ensure compliance with all health regulations and guidelines
- follow menus developed in collaboration with the Director
- assist with food ordering, inventory management, and cost control
- maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- partner with leadership and teachers to support overall child well-being
- contribute to a positive school culture focused on care and development
