The role of Runner at Cinepolis is an essential position within the Operations Department, reporting directly to the General Manager. This non-exempt position plays a key role in ensuring smooth service delivery by carefully managing food and drink orders to guests while fostering an atmosphere of hospitality and engagement. Runners serve as the crucial link between the kitchen, bar, and customers, ensuring that orders are accurate, complete, and delivered promptly. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of food running or bussing preferred
- ServSafe certification required
- Food handling and alcohol training certifications required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Integrity and reliability
- Availability to work nights, holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ years of food running or bussing preferred
- ServSafe, food handling and alcohol training certifications required
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management

Job Duties
- Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins while embodying nice and amazing service by following all In Seat Dining procedures
- Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Demonstrate commitment, and integrity at all times – double check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if they are not
- Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items
- Clean auditoriums removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items
- Be of service to your team members and assist them when needed including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or box office
- Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist
- Be cognizant of issues with movie projections - communicating with management when issues arise
- Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures - including but not limited to other duties
- Acknowledging guest by Cinepolis standards
- Attend and participate in trainings and meetings
