Job Description

HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company that operates a collection of luxury and lifestyle properties, including this particular property as part of the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division. Known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding sustainability and service standards, HHM Hotels embodies a culture centered around hospitality, respect, and professionalism. The company values diversity and inclusion, proudly operating as an equal-opportunity employer where employees are encouraged to grow and thrive in a supportive environment. Serving guests with excellence and efficiency is central to their operations, supported by extensive training and career growth opportunities.

This position is for a Seasonal Restaurant Server, an essential role within the vibrant food and beverage department at the hotel. The server’s primary responsibility is to provide courteous, friendly service by delivering food and beverages to guests while adhering to established brand and hotel guest service standards. This role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and a warm approach to ensure overall guest satisfaction during dining experiences. The seasonal nature of the position makes it ideal for individuals seeking temporary or part-time work during peak seasons, with the possibility of internal growth along a clear career path that includes positions such as Restaurant Supervisor, Banquet Server, Captain, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager.

The Seasonal Restaurant Server will be responsible for taking and placing customer orders using the point of service system, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately. This position also involves setting and clearing tables in dining areas, stocking service stations with essential items like ice, napkins, or straws, and picking up food from preparation areas to guarantee correct food delivery. Additional responsibilities include preparing guest checks and completing payment transactions when appropriate.

Servers are expected to uphold safe work habits, use personal protective equipment, and comply with safety standards including MSDS and OSHA guidelines. During times of staffing shortages or peak work periods, servers may be called upon to perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing, demonstrating the need for versatility and teamwork. In addition to these operational tasks, the role requires maintaining awareness of guest satisfaction scores and actively contributing to improving departmental and overall guest services.

Working at HHM Hotels means being part of a team that lives by core values such as People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These values speak to a culture of excellence, adaptability, dedication to service, and personal accountability, which align with the customer-focused nature of the Seasonal Restaurant Server role.
