Job Description

Imagine Learning is a leading provider of digital-first K-12 curriculum solutions dedicated to transforming education by empowering students, educators, and learning communities. With a strong commitment to igniting learning breakthroughs, Imagine Learning leverages innovative technology such as its Curriculum-Informed AI™ approach to personalize instruction and enhance student engagement. This technology understands instructional context, respects educator judgment, and scales personalized learning to unlock each student’s potential. As a company, Imagine Learning fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning, offering flexible work arrangements both remotely and from various office locations across the United States. The company emphasizes meaningful work, continuous professional growth, and supportive environments where passionate colleagues collaborate to make a difference in education.

The position available is a Seasonal Professional Development Specialist role which is temporary and centered around a two-day professional development event in Philadelphia, PA scheduled for August 18-19, accompanied by approximately 10-20 hours of paid remote onboarding and training. Compensation includes a base pay of $550 per day for the event days plus $25 per hour for pre-event training. This role is ideal for former teachers or educators with experience in Math or English Language Arts (ELA) education who seek a flexible seasonal opportunity to impact teachers and students without being in the classroom full-time.

In this role, specialists provide content-specific support, training, and guidance to K-12 educators on integrating Imagine Learning’s blended and online learning programs into their curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Responsibilities include delivering engaging workshops to small and large groups of teachers, helping develop and modify individualized student learning paths, designing classroom assessments, and interpreting assessment reports. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with Microsoft applications and digital meeting platforms. The job also demands onsite attendance for the two-day event in Philadelphia, with a strong emphasis on collaboration within a results-driven team environment.

Overall, Imagine Learning’s Seasonal Professional Development Specialist position is suited for motivated education professionals seeking impactful, flexible, and well-compensated work during the summer period, contributing directly to improving educational outcomes through professional development and the effective use of cutting-edge educational technology.
