The role available at Imagine Learning is for a Seasonal Professional Development Specialist, focused on supporting a two-day professional development event in Philadelphia, PA, on August 18-19. This temporary position is perfect for former teachers or educators who want to continue positively impacting the education field without being in the classroom full-time. The specialist will lead workshop sessions, provide content-specific training in Math and/or ELA education, and deliver guidance on implementing blended and online learning programs for K-12 environments. The position includes fee-based presentations for small and large groups, supporting curriculum integration, assessment design, and the use of digital tools for personalized learning. Compensation is competitive, with a base pay of $550 per day for the event days and additional training paid at $25 per hour, reflecting the candidate's expertise and experience. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree
- at least 2 years of professional development or training experience
- teaching certification in Math or ELA preferred
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online meeting tools
- ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card within 7 days of hire
- availability to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA on August 18 and 19
- ability to complete 10-20 hours of onboarding and remote training prior to event

Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree, graduate degree preferred
- at least 2 years of experience delivering professional development, training, or consulting services
- current or past teaching certification
- experience teaching Math or ELA
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong presentation and problem-solving abilities
- proficient in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms
- ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card
- self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
