Job Requirements

  • high school diploma GED preferred
  • 1+ years experience club hotel environment preferred
  • ability to wear common protective equipment rubber latex gloves or waterproof suits
  • ability to comprehend and carry out instructions
  • ability to work all shifts including days nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to bend stoop lift and or carry items up to 25 lbs up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • requires repetitive movement such as bending kneeling reaching or twisting
  • ability to move about freely in a multi-floor building
  • ability to work indoors or outdoors in many weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma GED preferred

  • ability to interact with members and staff on all levels in a professional positive and friendly manner
  • ability to wear common protective equipment rubber latex gloves or waterproof suits
  • ability to comprehend and carry out instructions
  • ability to work all shifts including days nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to read write and speak English bilingual a plus

Job Duties

  • clean rooms hallways lobbies lounges restrooms corridors elevators stairways locker rooms and other work areas to keep RHCC in a clean and orderly manner and to make sure all required health standards are met
  • carry linens towels toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
  • empty wastebaskets empty and clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
  • replenish supplies such as linens and bathroom items restock janitorial supplies
  • keep track and continually update inventory of supplies
  • keep storage areas and carts well-stocked clean and tidy
  • dust and polish furniture and equipment
  • sweep scrub or polish floors using brooms mops or powered scrubbing machines
  • wash windows walls ceilings and woodwork waxing and polishing as necessary
  • other duties as assigned
