Job Duties
- Offer pre-determined menu selections to each guest
- maintain knowledge of each selection's origin, taste, and preparation method
- communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the F&B Manager and/or kitchen
- check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order
- transport items to the guest table/guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
- communicate options for removal of trays and dishware
- respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards
- stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
- assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
- anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
- respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- set-up, decorate, clean, breakdown tables and food stations
- properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature
- properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
- assist the needs of all guests in the function room providing them with reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic service
- maintain the cleanliness in the pool area
- respond properly and quickly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
- perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
- work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service
- ensure that guest corridors and service landings are free from tray tables and debris
