The role currently open at Spanish Hills Club is that of a Seasonal Pool Host. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering superior customer service within a prestigious club setting. The Pool Host will be a key player in maintaining an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere at the pool area, ensuring that guests feel warmly welcomed and promptly attended to. This role requires a flexible schedule, with availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings, reflecting the club’s commitment to exceptional member service around the clock. The Pool Host will also demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, collaborating smoothly with bussers, cooks, and other staff to facilitate seamless service. The seasonal nature of this role provides a unique opportunity for team members to gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully to the daily operations of a high-end country club. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk from one place to another inside the property
  • must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry
  • flexibility of hours with full availability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and nights
  • must be able to handle outside work environment
  • basic computer and touch screen skills
  • must be able to handle last minute changes in a daily routine
  • a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff
  • able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guests’ needs
  • respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
  • warmly greet guests immediately upon entering
  • seat guests as assigned and distribute appropriate menu
  • answer phone calls
  • provide accurate and detailed information regarding restaurant/club operation
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness
  • sanitation and organization of all service areas in accordance with departmental procedures
  • work quickly and safely at all times
  • maintain and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures
  • maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • be familiar with the club’s services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • actively participate in Safety Programs and abide by all injury reporting and safety behavior requirements
  • participate in and support club efforts towards community service, sustainability and environmental initiatives
  • execute other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
