Job Description
Four Seasons is a renowned luxury hospitality company recognized worldwide for delivering exceptional guest experiences through a culture of genuine care and commitment to excellence. With a global presence, Four Seasons continually sets the standard for luxury hotels and resorts by creating unforgettable moments for its guests, residents, and partners. Powered by its dedicated employees, the company fosters a supportive, inclusive environment where each team member strives to grow both personally and professionally. This dedication ensures that guests receive services characterized by warmth, attention to detail, and an unparalleled level of comfort. At Four Seasons, the belief that kindness and respect should be extended to everyone underpins its approach to service, enhancing not just the guest experience but also the workplace atmosphere.
The location of this opportunity is the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, a sleek urban retreat nestled in the vibrant Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes including snow-capped mountains, deep-blue waters, and lush evergreen forests, Seattle offers a unique blend of wild natural beauty and trendy urban culture. The hotel’s prime downtown location places guests within walking distance of the renowned Seattle Art Museum, the iconic Pike Place Market, and the picturesque Elliott Bay. Visitors can immerse themselves in the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, explore local craft breweries, or partake in outdoor adventures like hiking Mount Rainier or kayaking on Lake Union. Evenings at the hotel can be spent enjoying exquisite local cuisine at the Goldfinch Tavern, an Ethan Stowell restaurant, known for its dedication to showcasing authentic Pacific Northwest flavors.
The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is currently seeking a Seasonal Pool Bartender to join its exemplary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and committed to providing top-tier service. The Pool Bartender position is full-time, seasonal, and spans from approximately May 11, 2026, to September 13, 2026, catering to peak pool operations during the busy summer season. Reporting directly to the In-Room Dining Manager, the Pool Bartender will be an essential part of a dynamic team tasked with elevating the guest experience through attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable drink service at the pool area. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
The Pool Bartender will prepare and serve a variety of wines, spirits, and mixed beverages, adhering strictly to established Four Seasons standards and recipes to ensure quality and consistency. The role involves interacting directly with guests to confirm orders, accommodate special requests, and respond promptly and effectively to any concerns or needs, ensuring a memorable experience. A thorough understanding of beverage offerings, including the origins, tastes, and preparation methods of various drinks such as wines, liquors, ports, armagnacs, and cognacs, is expected. Additional duties include maintaining accurate inventory counts, managing spillage and voids, and handling the preparation of garnishments and fresh fruit cuts. The seasonal nature of this role requires flexibility and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Compensation for this position is competitive, starting at $21.30 per hour plus applicable service charge percentages and gratuities. Alongside financial rewards, Four Seasons offers employees access to valuable benefits such as paid sick and safe time in Washington State, a 401K Retirement Savings Plan, complimentary meals, uniform care and dry cleaning, wellness investments, and opportunities for professional growth through training programs. This position invites hospitality professionals looking to contribute to a world-class team while experiencing the rich culture and stunning natural beauty of Seattle.
