The Restaurant Manager role at Gozzer Ranch is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of the restaurant, ensuring profitability, quality, and exceptional guest satisfaction. This position involves managing the daily restaurant activities including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and staff supervision. The manager works closely with culinary and food and beverage leadership teams to analyze menus and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Quality control is a critical aspect of this role, with the Restaurant Manager maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation to comply with health and safety regulations. Job Qualifications
- A degree in hospitality management or culinary degree
- Five or more years' experience in a luxury full service environment
- Experience in food and beverage management or similar role with international exposure
- Sommelier certification preferred
- Prior experience in private dining events
- Proven leadership skills with staff training and accountability
- Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with operations and POS software such as JONAS and TEI
- Exceptional time management
- Ability to work with discerning international clientele
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant including opening and closing procedures
- Work with culinary and F&B leadership to analyze menus, prices, and product offerings for profitability
- Organize restaurant preparations and optimize seating capacity
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food and beverage costs
- Maintain guest profiles and actively engage with staff and guests
- Handle member or guest issues professionally and promptly
- Ensure compliance with cleaning, safety, and equipment maintenance standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
- Conduct regular restaurant inspections and address service or cleanliness issues
- Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule restaurant staff
- Conduct staff briefings and provide constructive feedback
- Manage labor budget and monitor punctuality
- Enforce behavioral and vocational training programs
- Prepare and monitor restaurant budgets
- Control pilferage and breakage to reduce operational costs
- Perform additional management duties as assigned
