The role of Parts Runner at Rite Way is a seasonal position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and installation processes. The Parts Runner serves as the main resource for warehouse support and acts as the install driver for parts, which means they are responsible for picking up and delivering parts and supplies from various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This position also involves tasks related to inventory management, maintaining an organized and well-stocked facility to support operational efficiency. The Parts Runner utilizes modern technology to streamline the inventory process, maximizing availability and workflow efficiency. In this role, employees must maintain a clean and safe working environment by assisting with facility upkeep. Documentation is an important aspect, as the Parts Runner must obtain appropriate paperwork as proof of delivery and receipt of products. Safety compliance is paramount, and all work performed must adhere to established safety practices.
Working closely with Installers and Dispatch, the Parts Runner helps order parts and supplies for upcoming jobs, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The role demands adaptability, dependability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, thriving in a collaborative work culture. Physical demands include the ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, and to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods, reflecting the active and mobile nature of warehouse and field conditions. The position is typically scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and is not eligible for remote work. Job Requirements

- obtain appropriate paperwork for proof of delivery and receipt of product
- ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety practices
