Rentokil, a respected member of the global Rentokil family of companies, is a world leader in pest control and related services operating across more than 90 countries. With a reputation built on excellence and reliability, Rentokil serves a diverse array of customers, including both businesses and consumers, spanning multiple industries worldwide. The company is deeply committed to its mission to protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet, emphasizing sustainable and effective pest management solutions. This commitment underscores every aspect of their operations as they continue to grow and lead the industry in innovative pest control practices and technologies.

Within this well-established company, Rentokil is currently seeking Season Mosquito Spray Truck Drivers on a part-time basis to join their dedicated team. This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $25.00, depending on the geographic location, skills, education, and experience of each candidate. Opportunities for additional earnings exist through overtime, incentives, commissions, performance bonuses, and route assignments where applicable. Benefits for full-time colleagues begin immediately from day one, with no waiting period, reflecting Rentokil's commitment to employee welfare and satisfaction.

The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Part-Time Mosquito Spray Truck Driver is to operate mosquito control spray trucks safely and efficiently as a part of an integrated mosquito management program designed to prevent the spread of disease through effective mosquito control. This important role involves performing routine spraying of assigned zones under the guidance of a contract supervisor according to detailed instructions. The use of GPS monitor equipment is essential for accurate navigation and reporting, and drivers are required to promptly report any malfunctions.

Accurate and detailed record-keeping is required after each spray mission using designated log sheets which maintain data integrity and operational accountability. Familiarity with chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is critical, ensuring that all chemicals are handled and applied precisely according to label specifications. Safety is paramount; drivers must strictly follow safety protocols, spill procedures, and use all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

The role involves working regularly outdoors in varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments, including challenging and uneven terrain and exposure to pesticides, dust, noise, insects, and wild or domestic animals. Physical strength is necessary due to lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds for chemical containers and application equipment. Additionally, drivers must maintain cleanliness and safe operation of their motor vehicle and all equipment used.

Essential job functions also include demonstrating strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must be willing to learn and become knowledgeable in pest control practices and able to work well independently after an initial training period. Customer-facing experience is preferred, as the role may involve representing Rentokil to clients and community members.

Rentokil offers an attractive Total Rewards program that supports both professional and personal growth, health and wellness, savings and retirement plans, and work-life balance initiatives. The company promotes a culture of continuous development with training programs and tuition reimbursement benefits for full-time employees. Its health benefits encompass medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Financial security is supported by a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. Work-life balance is prioritized with vacation, sick days, paid holidays, and flexible work environments aimed at fostering health and safety.

Joining Rentokil means becoming part of a drug-free workplace that values diversity and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding employment and workplace safety. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking meaningful work that positively impacts public health and local communities while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits starting from day one.
