Job Description

Regal Cinemas is a leading movie theater chain that provides exceptional entertainment experiences across the United States. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities, wide selection of films, and excellent customer service, Regal Cinemas is committed to creating enjoyable moments for all moviegoers. Their venues combine comfortable seating, advanced sound systems, and a variety of concession options to ensure patrons have a memorable visit. As part of their team, employees play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that Regal is known for, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for guests of all ages.

The Server position at Regal Cinemas is a vital role based primarily in the concession stand area. This role includes responsibilities related to the sale of food, beverage, and alcoholic beverages, where permitted. The Server must be legally permitted to serve alcohol, possess the necessary training, and comply with all applicable state and local laws and regulations. Beyond handling concessions, the Server upholds the company’s standards for guest service by ensuring courteous and efficient interactions with customers. The position demands thorough knowledge of Regal's ongoing promotions, the Crown Club loyalty program, and the MPAA rating system to ensure a compliant and customer-friendly concession environment.

The Server is responsible for the operation, preparation, and cleaning of all concession-related equipment, as well as the proper use of related storerooms and cleaning materials with adherence to safety protocols such as the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). They must be familiar with concession opening, closing, and operational procedures throughout showtimes, and must also be trained in emergency, evacuation, and robbery protocols. Strong sales techniques, including upselling and suggestive selling, are important to increase concession sales and enhance the guest experience. Cash handling, including management of saleable and non-saleable merchandise and counterfeit bill detection, is a critical duty requiring accuracy and security.

This role also emphasizes compliance with all laws pertaining to food safety, dress code, and alcohol service while ensuring guest satisfaction by warmly greeting and thanking guests. The Server must maintain accurate cash drawers, inventory, and coupon records, and demonstrate knowledge of popper operation and emergency actions specific to the concession area. Additionally, it is important for the Server to complete the progression towards cast certification programs, participate in required training such as sexual harassment and discrimination awareness, and respect regulated break and meal period laws.

Regal Cinemas offers this position as an hourly opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $16.90 per hour. Team members enjoy unique benefits such as free movie passes and discounted concessions at all Regal locations, which enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Furthermore, employees aged 21 and older who have completed six months of service are eligible for the company’s 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, supporting long-term financial well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about entertainment, guest services, and working in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.
