The Server Assistant role at Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a seasonal position that plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests. With an hourly rate of $15.45, this position offers candidates the chance to be part of a dynamic team that values positivity, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. The Server Assistant supports the servers by maintaining a clean, well-stocked dining environment and assisting with timely table turnover. Job Requirements
- At least one year of fast casual dining or customer service experience preferred
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive service attitude and a passion for hospitality
- Physical ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights for long periods
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must be able to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods
Job Duties
- Quickly clean dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
- Promptly and consistently reset tables with spotless service ware
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments
- Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
- Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
- Perform other duties such as cleaning unexpected spills, special guest requests, and cross-training to ensure total guest satisfaction
